The A.A.S. in Computer Information Science Program trains students to develop computer applications for various industries using current programming languages, databases and other standard tools. Computer information science is a broad field with diverse career opportunities, and OTC’s program gives students the expertise and versatility required to find work after graduation. Each student chooses a concentration that best matches his or her interests. The required courses complement these focused studies by exposing students to foundational topics including Technology & Digital Literacy, Web Site Development I & II, Software Engineering Project and more. The C.I.S. (A.A.S.) program follows an academic framework outlined by the National Business Education Association and industry leaders including the Microsoft Corporation.
