Computer Information Science Degree (A.A.S.)

The A.A.S. in Computer Information Science Program trains students to develop computer applications for various industries using current programming languages, databases and other standard tools. Computer information science is a broad field with diverse career opportunities, and OTC’s program gives students the expertise and versatility required to find work after graduation. Each student chooses a concentration that best matches his or her interests. The required courses complement these focused studies by exposing students to foundational topics including Technology & Digital Literacy, Web Site Development I & II, Software Engineering Project and more. The C.I.S. (A.A.S.) program follows an academic framework outlined by the National Business Education Association and industry leaders including the Microsoft Corporation.

Admission to Ozarks Technical Community College is open to all individuals who can benefit from its educational programs. OTC may admit you as a First-Time student just completing their high school, GED or HiSET requirements or as a Transfer student coming from another institution finishing up a certificate or degree.
