Electrical Technician Degree (A.A.S.)
This program prepares students for entry-level work as electrical technicians. Electrical technicians build and maintain the important electrical devices we rely on. The level of training required to enter the industry depends on the specific needs of employers. We work closely with local businesses to develop a curriculum that ensures our graduates will meet their needs. Our instructors combine theory and many hours of practice in both classroom and laboratory settings. Course topics include Introduction to Electrical Theory and Safety, Electrical Formulas and Circuitry, and Alternative and Renewable Energy. Our graduates find work at electrical companies, hospitals, construction firms and a wide variety of other employers.
