Agriculture: Animal Science - Associate of Arts

The Agriculture: Animal Science Program helps students develop useful skills for working in the agribusiness industry. Animal science is an important field, affecting both our food chain and our environment. Sustaining livestock and wildlife populations is vital to a healthy society. Students with an interest in science and a desire to responsibly manage land and animals should consider this career path. The required courses include Livestock Management, Livestock Breeding and Wildlife Management. Graduates can seek a four-year degree or immediately seek work at a farm, ranch, conservation group or other related organization.
