The Associate of Science in Engineering: Civil Program is designed to prepare students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering and seek work as a civil engineer. Civil engineers design and help construct buildings, bridges and other public spaces. The required courses give students a foundational understanding of physics, dynamics and the structural design process. While most graduates pursue advanced studies, this degree can qualify job seekers for certain positions such as engineering technician. Students should consult with their faculty advisor and the institution to which they intend to transfer to make sure their courses transfer properly.

Admission to Ozarks Technical Community College is open to all individuals who can benefit from its educational programs. A focus of the college mission is on the academic, career and personal goals of the student. OTC may admit you as a First-Time student just completing their high school, GED or HiSET requirements or as a Transfer student coming from another institution finishing up a certificate or degree.
