Engineering: Mechanical - Associate of Science

The Associate of Science in Engineering: Mechanical Program is designed to prepare students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering and seek work as a mechanical engineer. Mechanical engineers design and test machinery such as engines, turbines and power tools. The required courses give students a foundational understanding of physics, dynamics, computer programming and the mechanical design process. While most graduates pursue advanced studies, this degree can qualify job seekers for certain positions such as engineering technician. Students should consult with their faculty advisor and the institution to which they intend to transfer to make sure their courses transfer properly.
