Accounting - Certificate of Achievement

Students with an interest in numbers and an eye for detail should consider this program. Accountants are problem-solvers who use their analytical skills to make their organizations more efficient. Accounting professionals can earn a comfortable living and are always in demand. The Accounting Certificate prepares students with coursework covering first-year topics such as College Accounting, Principles of Business and Personal Finance. A co-op education/internship option in the final semester gives students practical work experience. This certificate is designed for students who are already working or who will seek work immediately after graduation. Graduates who wish to transfer and pursue a bachelor’s degree will have their transcripts evaluated by the new institution; credit will be transferred on a course-by-course basis.
