Engineering - Certificate of Achievement

The Certificate in Engineering covers the essential course work for the first year of study in any engineering field. Engineers take scientific discoveries and apply them to everyday life. Students interested in designing useful things using math and science should consider this program. The required program course, Study and Careers in Engineering, outlines the many career options students can pursue within the industry. Graduates will have the math and science foundation needed to pursue advanced engineering studies. The certificate program can also benefit those already working in engineering who need supplementary education to advance their careers. Students who intend to transfer to a four-year institution should contact their faculty advisor and the school they will be attending to make sure they are taking the right courses.
