Computer Science Certificate

The Computer Science Program prepares students to create and use software and web applications. Students will explore foundational topics such as software design, computer programming and web development. Each student will choose a concentration that best matches his or her interests.

The certificate program is designed for students who are already working or want to enter the workforce as soon as possible. The program requirements allow students to graduate faster than those pursuing the A.S. degree. The program’s courses are designed using industry standards developed by Microsoft. Coursework features significant lab time during which instructors will guide the class through hands-on work with computer applications.
