The Certificate of Achievement in Cybersecurity Program prepares students for entry-level employment with an IT department in a security-focused role. Cybersecurity professionals analyze networks for possible vulnerabilities and strategize ways to combat cyber threats. Students in this program learn networking fundamentals as well as advanced cybersecurity topics. The cybersecurity certificate covers the Cisco CCNA curriculum, firewall essentials, and basic network operations. This certificate also provides the foundational knowledge needed to obtain industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Linux+, and CompTIA Security+. Graduates can find work with businesses, hospitals, schools, colleges, government offices and many other organizations.
