Mechatronics - Certificate of Achievement

Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary blend of mechanical, electrical, and computer control systems. The goal of this program is to prepare students to work with these systems in a variety of settings. Mechatronics professionals are responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment in an industrial setting. This program provides new students with the entry-level skills they need to gain employment in a mechatronics-related career. Graduates can find jobs in high-tech manufacturing facilities, hospitals, hotels/resorts, utility companies, schools and retail chains. Students who obtain the Mechatronics Certificate may complete additional coursework to obtain the A.A.S. in Mechatronics degree.

General Admissions to Ozarks Tech

Admission to Ozarks Technical Community College is open to all individuals who can benefit from its educational programs. A focus of the college mission is on the academic, career and personal goals of the student. OTC may admit you as a First-Time student just completing their high school, GED or HiSET requirements or as a Transfer student coming from another institution finishing up a certificate or degree.
