The Networking Technology Program trains students to work as network administrators. Networking technology professionals are generally responsible for ensuring their organizations’ computer and internet networks run smoothly and efficiently. The coursework prepares students to perform the typical duties of a network administrator, which often includes assembling and repairing computers, installing network cabling systems, configuring and managing servers and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Our courses also prepare students to earn industry certifications such as CompTIA NET+, A+, Security+, Linux+ Cisco CCENT and CCNA.
The certificate program is designed for students who are already working or want to enter the workforce as soon as possible. The program requirements allow students to graduate faster than those pursuing the A.A.S. degree. Our graduates work as network technicians, computer technicians, network cable installers and other computer-related positions.
