Aviation General Technician - Certificate of Specialization - Coming Fall 2025

The Certificate of Specialization in Aviation General Technician teaches students the fundamental knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in aviation maintenance. Students will learn general aviation mechanical and maintenance principles, which are reinforced through real-world training. Course topics include basic electrical principles, cleaning and corrosion control, ground operations and more. Training will include properly maintaining records, following regulations, and performing inspections. The certificate program allows students to complete their coursework quickly for an expedited path to graduation. Graduates will be prepared to test for certification as an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT). Potential careers include aviation technician, aviation inspector, aviation maintenance instructor and other aviation maintenance-related positions.
