Computer Information Science - Web Development - Certificate of Specialization

This program gives students foundational knowledge of web development technologies and teaches them to work with the current scripting and programming languages used in the workplace. Employers need web developers to create and maintain clean, functional webpages to establish their online presence. As the online economy continues to grow, skilled web developers will be more in-demand than ever before.

This certificate is recommended for students who have already completed a four-year degree program and want to develop additional skills in web development. The courses include Introduction to Computer Programming, Web Site Development I & II, and PHP Programming. Interested students should contact the department to discuss their academic and professional backgrounds and determine whether this certificate is a good fit for their career goals.
