Engineering: General – Associate of Science

The Associate of Science in Engineering: General Program is designed for students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Engineers take scientific discoveries and apply them to everyday life. Students interested in designing useful things using math and science should consider this program. The required courses cover essential introductory topics including Study and Careers in Engineering and Production Design Drafting. The general engineering program provides students with a broad survey of the types of engineering they can specialize in. While most graduates pursue advanced studies, this degree can qualify job seekers for certain positions such as engineering technician. Students who intend to transfer should contact their faculty advisor and the institution they will be attending to make sure they are taking the right courses.
