Aviation Powerplant Maintenance Technician – Certificate of Achievement – Coming Spring 2025

The Certificate of Achievement in Aviation Powerplant Maintenance Technician teaches students the technical knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in aviation maintenance. Students will learn general aviation mechanical and maintenance principles, which are reinforced through real-world training. Program graduates will be equipped to inspect and maintain aircraft powerplant systems such as turbine engines, propellers, engine instruments and more. Training will include properly maintaining records, following regulations, and performing inspections. The certificate program allows students to complete their coursework quickly for an expedited path to graduation. Graduates will be prepared to test for certification as an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) with a Powerplant rating. Potential careers include aviation technician, aviation inspector, aviation maintenance instructor and other aviation maintenance-related positions.
